Description
Overpass is a versatile sans-serif typeface developed by Delve Withrington, Dave Bailey, Thomas Jockin, Alan Dague-Greene, Aaron Bell, and Jason Campbell between 2011–2021. Initially created for Red Hat software UI elements, it has since been released as open source with 18 variants (9 weights and their corresponding obliques). Overpass was inspired by Highway Gothic but optimized for digital screen readability. The font family now includes a monospaced version called Overpass Mono, adding to its practicality in various design contexts.
